Hi guys,
I'm new to fish, but want to learn all of the things haha
Mistakes have been made so far, so I'm here to learn from them.
Mr.Stripes and Pearl.....Rest In Peace.

Struggles so far include, fish bullying, sick fish, and chemical spikes....

I have a 70Litres tank at the moment with the remaining 2 fish - 1 Dwarf Gourami and 1 Angelfish.
I'm in the middle of setting up a new tank too. 40Litres - no fish.

Looking forward to browsing the forum to find answers to some of my questions thus far.

Thanks all in advance for your help!

Welcome! is your tank with fish cycled?

Welcome! is your tank with fish cycled?

I bought it about 5 weeks ago, ammonia levels are through the roof, and I've lost two fish so far.
(A loach and a dwarf gourami)

Initially I was just following the water conditioner and stability bottle instructions to get set up.
But I was not testing the water.

Now that I've started testing, I know the ammonia is a problem.
The fish shop said feed them twice a day - I've now cut down to Once to try to combat the ammonia levels.
I clean the tank frequently with gravel vac, and do constant 15% water changes.

Any advice?

I would only feed them once every 2-3 days. Healthy fish can go a few days without food and depending on the type eat algae/left over food.
