Help!!

Husband is away and my toddler has emptied a full tub of catfish pellets into the fish tank..i have tried to clean them out and top the water up but the water is very murky. I only discovered it this morning so my guess it's been there nearly 20 hours. 3 fish dead already - is there anything else I can do? Husband is in different time zone so can't ask him.

It's a large tropical tank...

The best advice I can give is for you to do a large water change, making sure the new water is warmed and dechlorinated.

As the problem is pollution from all that food, changing the water is really the only thing that's going to help.
