I have a 120g planted tank and recently I've noticed an algae takeover
sad.png
it seems almost moss like in appearance and covers our dwarf hair grass, baby drawf tears and our drift wood.  I haven't noticed it on our myrio, swords, or lotus at all though.  we have 6 otocinclus in the tank and they dont seem to touch it at all.  Since i'm not sure what kind of algae it is, I'm unsure what the best method to get rid of it is.

Looks like hair algae ( Hydrogen Peroxide ) will clear it up but double check with someone else 1st before using chemicals maybe someone else has another option .

anyone else? the stuff is everywhere, we tried to pull some off and it was ripping our dwarf tears right up :(  Its almost moss like and with the otos not touching it its only getting worse. someone suggested ghost shrimp or siamese algae eaters as a possible solution.
