hello everyone
i just started a daphnia culture and for two days it was growing steadily. then last night i fed it a glass of yeast solution and the water got all cloudy.
then in the morning i went to look at the culture and it seemed like half of the daphnia have disappeared!!!
is this a misconseption because the water is very cloudy or do i have to start a new culture by separating some daphnia and cleaning the tub, then putting some of the daphnia back inside with clean water??p.s:it was activated yeast..

Post in tropical discussion more members go over there,.
This area is for sick fish.

the yeast killed the daphnia. You only want to add a small amount of yeast once a week. Green water is better and safer than yeast. Aerate the water and do a 50% water change with dechlorinated water.
