Does Gymnothorax Tile eat plants? I bought some plants to put in my aquarium with my eels, (amazon swords, cardinal plants and anibus) about 2 months ago. I got home from vacation the other day and all the cardinal plants were gone, just stubs sticking out of the sand where they were planted. No plants floating, nothing. The amazon swords and anibus are just fine. The stubs look like they were chewed on and I know my ghost shrimp aren't eating them. Do eels eat plants? It's only the expinsive plants that are going missing.
