Guppies first load of fry.

Hey got up this morning and fed the fish, and suddenly noticed a fry dart along the tank.... and then get eaten

Only then to watch as the mother popped out loads more (never seen them actually have them before. cool)

Unfortunately all the other fish are very rapid so i dont think many are going to/have survived.!!! But i did go buy a breeding trap at dinner time, so next time i hope to get some.

Guppies are better if you have 1 male to 2 females as the male continuously harrasses the female. Have you got lots of plants/rocks for the fry to hide in. That increases they're chances of survival.

I hear that a pile of marbles also helps, but have not had luck with them. Swordies are too canaballistic perhaps.
