i have two gourmis in a 29 gallon tank and i believe one is opaline (male "Walter white") and the other is gold(? "Jesse pinkman") im not sure what gender the gold one is because the top fin ( dorsal?) was kind of tattered when i received it. but they are in a tank together alone and Walter chases around jesse but they have there own sides of the tank that they have established walter stays on the right side but will go out of his way to get to jesse would adding other fish help distract him from jesse or would getting more hiding spots be better?

The gouramis do need a planted tank with plenty of hiding places.  What do you have in the tank now, with them? LIve plants, driftwood, silk plants, a log, anything?  That would be the first thing to get.

Since you don't know the gender for Jesse, this is also a possible issue, if they are both male, as the males can get territorial.

I found the opaline ones on Seriously Fish, for you, see here:  http://www.seriouslyfish.com/species/trichopodus-trichopterus/

And since it says these come in a 'gold form,' you likely have that for Jesse.

Read up some on the habitat and so on for them.

Yes I have about 10 fake plant with various places for them to hide n them I have a log and 2 rock cave like things. And in there with them now is 2 Dalmatian mollys they get along great with the gouramis but I'm still having some trouble with the chasing. Also I will upload the pics once I get to my computer

best i could do because i cant directly upload on here:/

Two males.

Even in a 30g, one will pursue the other even through the densest of plants. It would be better to remove one of them.
