goldfish friends

Hello, I have two (young) fancy goldfish in a 29 gallon tank and was thinking of moving my five white cloud minnows in with them. My white clouds are currently thriving in a 3 gallon cold tank with some fresh plants... but I need that tank for my snail babies that are on the way. I have heard of mixing the two, and am wondering if anyone knows about this? thanks...

I think that is a great idea! You may also consider a hill stream loach if you increase the flow in you tank. I don't know much about coldwater fish, but see no problem with your choice. Hopefully, someone more knowlegable about about coldwater will come along. Good luck and Good fishing!
