saw at petsmart the other day that they have both freeze and sun-dried shrimp for fish to eat. i know freeze dried are not really recommended, but are sun-dried better? i don't have a freezer so would like to give my fish a treat but can't keep frozen bloodworms.

Hi nino :)

I steer clear of sun dried products for my own consumption ever since I tried to dry a batch of cherries, some years ago. No matter how much I tried, I couldn't keep flies away or keep the dust from settling on them. I suspect that commercial drying would not be any better.

There's nothing wrong with freeze dried products. While they might not be as attractive as fresh ones, the important nutrients are still there. :D
