Hello everybody!

I'm new to the forum, and I'm planning a new tank, so I thought I'd seek some advice from the people here on my stocking ideas.

Planned Tank
61cm x 31cm x 32cm
1x male betta
6x glass catfish
6x panda cory

Is this overstocked? The tank will be heavily planted and have efficient filtration.

Sorry, didn't see the original post.

A tank that size is about 60l - that's really a bit small for glass catfish, they need something more around the 100-120l mark.

I'd be inclined to have a shoal of one of the smaller tetra/barb/danio/rasbora species - numbers dependent upon size - instead of the glass catfish.

Thanks for the reply. Will a small school of harlequin rasboras be OK? Also, forgot to mention this will be a slightly blackwater tank.

6 harlequins will be a little overstocked, certainly if you use the 1cm/l rule as a guide. However, with decent filtration, plants and regular waterchanges, you should be fine.
