Fin Rot medicine

I recently changed my bettas water on Monday, would it be safe to add some fin rot medicine in her tank or do I need to change the water again?
I noticed she had some white stuff on her fin yesterday and I believe its fin rot..

Im most cases you do not need any medication including salt to cure fin-rot.

Here's a secret tip to treating fin-rot in Betta's.

All you need is lots of clean warm treated water the rest is nonsense. Fin rot is the direct result of poor water conditions.

How big is the tank?
Has it got a filter?
Is it cycled?
Have you got a heater? What is the water temp?
How often do you change water?
How much do you change?
