I have been researching for like 2 hours today trying to get info on fin rot. I know that there are two types bacterial and fungal.

I'm a bit confused though cause on one site I read about the differences between bacterial and fugal fin rot, but when i found a second site it said the same thing but switched around. The second site said the same about fungal that the first said about bacterial, and the other way around. Ya get what i mean? So now I'm just wondering which is which??

If someone with a lot of fish experience could please give me the major differences between the two I'd really appriciate it!!

I know 2 of my guppies have fin rot...I'm just wondering which one so I can treat appropriately.

Their syptoms are:
jagged fins but all the same length and white fuzz around the edges. Not like fuzz thats really furry just kinda on the edge of the ragged bits.

Eating as usual, swimming as usual

Just tested the water day before yesterday and everything was fine.

Thanks!
