False Positive Nitrates While Dosing Seachem Nitrogen?

I recently planted my cycling tank, and it's on a pretty strict regimen of nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorous, etc. Would the nitrogen provide a false positive for the nitrates? I tested them earlier this week and they were zero, and now they were testing around 7 ppm.  Is this a false positive>

No your test kit should detect nitrate regardless if they are natural or from a fertilizer.
