Easy life filter medium

Hi all, has anyone used or know about easy life filter medium. Is it reccomended or not?

I use it and highly recommend it, but it is expensive, I buy mine by the gallon.

I have been using it for about 3 years now and love it.

Ignore anybody that tells you not to use/try it.

Ok. My only concern is that it will feed algae as my tank is doing really well with hardly any algae. Will it feed the algae?

First time usage Full dosage: 10 ml per 30 litres of water

Water change Full dosage for refill water (10 ml per 30 litres)

I'm a skeptic. It says it's 100% organic and contains no chemicals, enzymes, or bacteria....so what is it? It sounds like a clarifier, which we Know is not good for stock gills.

My position is to steer clear of additives unless absolutely necessary - including even plant ferts. (In my 60g the Water Sprite needs some Flourish Comp every week, but it grows like crazy in the 37g (grow out) tank with no added ferts. Perhaps because the fish in the grow out tank are fed several times a day so there's likely more nutrients in the water.)

For crystal clear water, I sometimes run a Marineland Magnum Polishing Internal Canister Filter using the micron cartridge charged with diatomaceous earth. After a few short hours it's as though there's no water in the tank!
