I love lionfish but i know i cant keep a big one, so why not dwarf! only question is do they eat..

corals?
shrimp? eg cleaner
hermits??
snails???

I think they are really pretty and i will soon have my nitrates down to a nice <10mg

I had this dilema & ended up deciding against the Lion as I didnt think it was worth the risk

Apparently will eat most things that fit in the mouth

So Hermits, Snails, Shrimps, Small Fish etc Yes
Corals - No

The diet of all the Dendrochirus genus (the dwarf lions) in the wild consists of inverts. AS already mentioned, the corals should be ok, but the clean up crew will be at constant risk. If you don't mind constantly replacing your inverts then you could put one in, but for most people lions and reefs aren't a great mix.
