My tank is very near ambient bright window.  I have all these algae spots that won't come off with towel, sponge, or cloth.  Any abrasive will scratch the plastic tank.  I wipe around them for now getting anything that doesn't kling on, but they are getting more numerous.  Any suggs that will remove these things without scratching the plastic?  Thanks to all......

Try a blade? Be careful but if done right it wont scratch the plastic.

Personally I wouldn't risk using a blade on an acrylic tank, not that I doubt that it is possible to use one without damage, My "plastic" Hospital/Quarantine tank has been scrubbed thoroughly with a proprietary API Algae pad every time it has been used

(was also used for several months as a home for a betta) and has no marks on it at all always scrubs  up like new
