Heres the dilema, i am redoing my 15 gal, going to be densely planted 'river' type thing, sand substate with plenty of rocks etc
Current only definate stocking are Hillstream Loaches, preferable Sewellia sp. spotted (if i can locate a few)

If you select other please state which and a recommended number.

Thanks :good:

I definitely think threadfins would be wonderful... you could also think about Pseudomugil species if you can get them, another Australian native. WCMM might be more suited to the environment though...

Iriatherina werneri (the threadfin) is extremely adaptible. It will cope with currents, extreme temperatures, hard/soft, acid/alkaline, just about anything. The only thing you have to be careful about is feeding. Their mouths are TINY.

thanks Laura, the feeding shouldn't be a problem since there only tank mates would be the loaches :good:

I voted for the WCMM as it is more in keeping with the Loaches for environment and temperature.

that was my original thought, then someone that was helping pick the loach species, suggested the threadfins
