Need a bit of advice about when to add more ammonia to my tank.
On day 1 I dosed the tank with 1.2ml of ammonia giving a reading of 3ppm ammonia.
Tested Day 4: Ammonia 2ppm and Nitrite 0.75ppm
Tested again Day 7: Ammonia <0.25ppm and Nirtite 0.75ppm
Should I add more ammonia now that it's dropped below 0.25ppm even though my nitrite isn't over 2ppm?
Also, what is causing this? I have the tank semi planted with some dwarf hairgrass and pogostemon helefari which I dose with Floruish
I have had a bit of an algae problem which I mostly cleared up before I began dosing with ammonia, however there is some algae in the tank currently due to it's position close to the window.
