Hi Guys,

I have drained my tank completely in preparation for converting it from Tropical to marine. However the whole thing is covered in rock hard coralline algae. It is 450L so a vinegar bath is not really an option and razer blades aren't helping at all.
What should I do? Please help me ASAP!

Thanks in advance for your replies.
Cameron

P.S Would Chlorine or Bleach work?

You have coralline algae in your tropical tank?.i am confused.do you have a pic

Are you sure a bare razor blade won't move it.it does work better under water right enough.

I have managed to get it off now. I re soaked the whole thing with a jet hose which got some of it off anyway and then the razer blade finished the job.
Thanks everyone for your help.

No probs.please give pics of your new marine set up.
