i have a spare 30l and a spare 20l which i was to breed some fish in for fun.

i cant have them heated though as i already have overloaded the room with plugs. can anyone recommend some coldwater fish preferable live bearing what are pretty easy to breed

thanks

there maybe some sub tropical goodieds(SP?) that are suitable but im not sure

Not in an unheated tank.. they may be able to survive, but it's not fair on them or the fry.

Why can you not get an extension lead or too?

I don't know of any cold water livebearers that would work in such a small place. I keep several types of goodeids but they are in tanks ranging from about 100 litres on up to 170 litres. A small tank like yours might be OK for some shrimp or something like that but not for goodeids.
