Cardinals don't seem to eat

I got 6 cardinal tetras today. Slowly acclimated them in my smaller 28 litre tank. Not long ago I put some flake food in which I also got to replace my old can and it doesn't seem they are eager to eat. Do they eat flake food or is it they are still getting used to their new home? They look healthy.

I usually don't feed the day I buy them - hopefully just the stress of being moved.

Fed them yesterday and they are eating now . I've forgotten how slow they are to eat. The danios I have just go towards the food when it's on the top.
