I have recently noticed that my angelfish has two strange white tubular like structures protruding from its face, the longest just above its eye. It refuses to eat and I have noticed an odd spasm. I cannot find anything on the web that looks like it apart from white spot. Does anyone know what this can be and secondly any recommendations for medication.

Would appreciate any help as I have had this angelfish for a long time and would be sad to lose it!!!

Thanks,

Dinos

Is it possible to load a pic onto the site.

Does it sound like this.

B). Elongated oval objects measuring up to 10mm, stick up out of the skin

This involves the egg pouches of copepods, e.g. Lernaea. The anterior portion of the parasite is burrowed deeper into the skin

Treat with De-L
os.
