Hi All

Ready to install a cannsiter filter so that we can get rid of the internal one and my question is does it matter if the in and out hoses are of different length's ?

Not able to position the cannister directly in the middle under the tank, so its wither going to have to be under either the left or right side under... any issues I should be aware

It doesn't make any difference to the length.

Try to have the intake at one end of the tank and the outlet at the other end. You can buy clear plastic hose from a hardware (use food/ drinking water grade) and extend it if you like.

Keep the new and old filter running together for at least a month before removing the internal filter or the tank will cycle again and you will have to deal with ammonia levels.
