my tank is 125l, so that is 125,000 milliliters.

To turn that into a million mulitiply by 8,

so if I want 4 ppm of something, ill divide by 8, giving half. so half a mill is 4 millionths of 125 liters?

So to start my fishless cycle I need half a mill of ammonia?

till i get a testing kit on mon?

According the calculator at the top of the page you will need... 5.26 ml of ammonia to reach a level of 4ppm

Golly, you are right.

I hadn't taken into consideration that the ammonia was not 100% ammonia!

I had never seen that calculator thing before, it's jolly handy, thanks.
