Hello, my tank has a camallanus problem and I can keep it at bay with levamisole, however it keeps coming back. When I'm done fishless cycling my new tank, I will transfer the fish (will make sure they have been treated with levamisole beforehand and are not carrying parasites). I have been trying to figure out ways to sterilize the old tank once the fish have been transferred out. I'm ok with taking everything apart and cleaning things individually, however I heard somewhere that dosing the tank with a certain ppm of ammonia can sterilize it, but I'm not sure. I have this ammonia formulated for fish tanks that I use for cycling, and would use it if that were the case.
