Ok so after a very long time I finally got back into the fish hobby I got myself a 40g acrylic filled it with plants, cycled it, had my water tested and all my fish are happy and healthy..... except for any bottom feeders I add...
Death count 2 green corys, 1 bristle nose pleco, 1 clown pleco, and two ghost shrimp. I would add my two deceased snails but I suspect that my wife was sold two dead snails as my ivory mystery snail is alive and well.
I have a mixture of fine gravel and sand. A double sponge filter, a whisper filter(temporary), hides And plants.
I do weekly water changes, and use stress zyme. I have shrimp pellets and algae wafers my tank I think is kept at 78F I may have to re check that.
Like I said all of my other fish are perfectly fine except any bottom feeders.
What can be the problem?
