Just got done treating my fish for ich. I do about 6 gallon water change in my 40 gallon tank. Now one of my molly's has a few little black spots on it. Just the one, no other fish are affected by this. What is this and how can I treat it?

You don't say what color is your molly?

Maybe she just got black spots when she is maturing. Mottled type does existed in the mollies. Mottled, Dalamation, Melanistic and Spotted are just color strains of mollies that has black spots.

When the fry was born spotless and when the fry growing up, some spots appeared then the spots become bigger as the fry keep growing.

Pictures would help. There is a black spot parasite, and I believe you would treat it with an external parasite medication.

I tried to get some pictures but the black spots are so small that they didn't show up on the camera. It is just my one silver molly. I have another silver molly but I dont see anything else on her.

It has been there a few days. I have seen a few more appear. Not many, not like ich at all.
