Black Shark in India(Wild)

Hi guys nice to meet you,recently I was searching about my iridescent sharks when I came across the black Shark.It is when I saw the fry I realised they are the same fish I caught in my native place in Kerala.They must be small right now coz the one I bought is just 2 inches long.I just wanted some opinions about what would happen if they are released in a place where all fish measure below 8 inches.
