Aqueon 24" hood for 55g? Cutting out back panel

I'm looking to get a hood for my 55g. Any recommendations? I want to turn it into a planted aquarium at some point and have heard good things about the aqueous hoods with fluorescent lights.

My main question is, how hard is it to cut out the back panels for filters in this hood?

Hi! Not hard at all. I just used a razor knife like an Exacto Knife.
