Hi everyone. New to the forum and returning to the hobby after a break of 40 years or so. There sure has been a lot of changes in that time.
I have 2 tanks, tank one is a 60 ltr planted which is up and running with a few guppies, a couple of bolivian rams, a couple of cats, a red honey gourami and an oto. (It will eventually be a guppy tank)
Tank 2 is a work in progress, the tank is 125 ltr still to be set up as I am collecting together the hardscape and substrate etc. I intend to have a school of silver tip tetras and I really like the idea of having a plec.
Having not kept plecs before can anyone advise what type would be small and social enough to keep in a 125 ltr tank, if any, and any tips you could give me on upkeep.
Many thanks in advance.

hi and welcome to the forum :)

common bristlenose catfish are a small suckermouth catfish. Alternatively Peckoltias, Farlowella sp, Loricaria sp all make interesting fish. They all need clean well filtered water with driftwood and algae to graze on.
