Angelfish eat neon tetras. Neons are a staple in their natural diet.

Like aquanut mentioned, they get along real good until the Angel is hungry. In the wild that's what they eat.

just to egg you on further fishy.... mmmmmm dinner is what the angel would be thinking

Angelfish: Come here pretty neon. Come for dinner!
Neons: Oh no! It's an angelfish! Swim for your lives!!!

Just a thought.

You know how some animals get along with their predators. ie. cats/mice?
In theory, if an angel is well fed and not hungry, it may not bother the tetras. In my tank, I have angels with neons. The neons have their area and the angels theirs. They don't bother each other.

But, I watch their actions, just in case this changes.

If you get the angels when they are very young it will not be a problem.
As long as you keep them well fed they know that there is a different source of food, they are completely fine and I have no worries with them

If you are thinking of introducing a more than medium sized angel it will more than likely eat the neons as it doesnt know any different
