Angel fish identification

I was recently gifted an angel fish but have I have no idea what type he/she is, any ideas?

Just a standard black marble angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare).

It has a damaged tail. Make sure the water quality is good and there is no ammonia or nitrite and the nitrate is less than 20ppm.
Maybe do a 75% water change and gravel clean the substrate each day for a week to help it heal.

Yea I did a 50 percent water change today and he was in a tank with some smaller fish that nipped his tail alot until I got him
