I have a 64 litre tank with 1 commet fish in, 2 1/2 years old recently removed from a 20 litre tank.

The tank is 5 weeks old. With established wood, purchased from the commercial pet store.

The fish has been in the tank for 4 weeks.

The ph, Nitrite and Nitrate tests have been conducted via the fresh water master kit. All tests results have returned perfect. Except for Ammonia which is reading 1.0ppm

Every Saturday I do a 30% water change.

I would like to add another commet fish to this tank, but first I need to get the Ammonia to 0ppm.

Is there anything I can do to get the Ammonia down to 0ppm.

I have added General Tonic to the tank and Easy Balance.

The Amonia has been a problem for 2 weeks.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Is the tank cycled, and if so, how was it cycled?
