Hello! I'm new here obviously
I've been doing this for around 5-6 years now give or take. I had a relatively successful 30 gallon tank in the past. The tank got cracked in a move though and all my fish ultimately died as the temporary bucket housing was just not adequate I've finally decided to give having an aquarium a try again. This time I bought a smaller 16 gallon unit. Unfortunately for whatever reason this one has just been plagued with problems so far. I don't know if it's the fact that I tried plants this time around or if my local petstore just has bad stocks or what, but I've had a 33% mortality rate on new additions so far. I'm inclined to think it's the latter, as the fish that have survived are doing great. Anyway, the main reason I joined here is to seek answers to how I can fix the issues that have been ongoing with this new aquarium. I'll probably be making a post soon. I look forward to receiving expert help!
