So the Oddysea 24" T5 fixture I inherited from a friend finally kicked the can. I did a little research and apparently silently going out was the best way it could. To my knowledge, the T5s in there are still good. Is there anywhere I can get a fixture for them without paying the price for the tubes?

Generally not worth bothering, as you get the replacement tubes at a discount for purchasing as a block and you'll have to replace them eventually.

If price is an issue then replacing the driver might be an option, if your wiring is good.

Are you sure it isn't the bulbs that have gone? I assumed once a unit had died when both bulbs went at the same time, only to find that neither bulb worked in a new fitting but the replacement bulbs worked in both fixtures.
