    Clean up crew suggestions

I have a 30 gallon long with neon tetras and honey gourami - 27 total small fish. I'd like to add some cleanup crew. I do have a couple nerite snails and they're keeping the driftwood pretty clean, but many of my plants have brown hair algae spreading around. I already have amano shrimp in...

    Algae control for 10 gallon

I have a 10gal betta tank with 3 amano shrimp and 1 nerite snail. I'm getting a lot of brown algae on the glass that's clouding my view, and my algae eaters aren't dealing with it. Anything I could add to help out? Also, should I add any bottom feeders? I noticed some teeny tiny detritus worms.

Best bottom feeder fish for a 10 gallon tank!

Hey all! So I have always been obssessed with plecos but I found out they grow incredibly large. And will most definitely NOT fit in my tank. I read that pygmy corys would do great with my selection of fish and the size of my tank. (I have two mollies and a platy and am going to grab some...

    Is this normal shrimp behaviour?

Is this normal? I have one shrimp who keeps eating the sinking pellet food I drop in for my cories, and is so protective over it that it has a go at any fish that tries to eat it. The shrimp actually drags the pellet away to a hiding place! Quite clever tbh. But there are other fish who make an...

    Algea on glass

Hello, I've had a my tank since May of 2019 and everything was going great. Recently though (about a weeks ago) I noticed that there was some light green, spots of algea growing on the glass of my tank. It's there anyway to get rid of it? I've tried using an aquarium sponge to remove it but the...

    Skunk loach...

I hope I picked the right thread for this, anyways... I have one skunk loach and he is SO aggressive, I was thinking about giving him away but that doesn’t sit right with me. I’m wondering if I can put 4 of them in a 20 gallon tank, if not, can I keep 3 with them being satisfied with the size of...

    Cichlids with Bottom Feeders

Hello! Currently I'm trying to build a cichlid tank. Right now I have a convict, a kenyi, and two bolivian rams together, but I will be moving the rams into a different tank tomorrow because the Kenyi has been bullying them. But that's not what I wanted to discuss. I plan on adding a few more...

    Stocking query

Hi all, I am soon to take back my Chinese Algae Eater (Sucking Loach), he's pretty docile for one of them, doesn't go for other fish just warns them off if they get near his area. He's about 4 years old now. Anyway I'm waiting for a new tank to arrive - 230 litres (~60 gallons) and he will be...
