Bettas from Wuv! mini boy and others (pics)

As some of you know, wuv was nice enough to send me her mini boy... but she also sent me three other gorgeous boys as well!! I love plakats and DTs, but there's nowhere around here to buy them, so I'm extremely happy to finally have some of my very own :wub:
The mini boy and the solid red DT settled in almost immediately and already seem comfortable in their new homes (the mini boy even ate!) but the other two are still a little shy about having their photos taken. Maybe by next week I'll be able to get some photos of the CT boy's lovely finnage :wub:

The female feeder guppy in that tank mistook him for another guppy and was trying to school with him :lol:. Notice the flare :hey:

Too close for comfort... I moved the bothersome guppy to a different tank because she was so intent on schooling with him that she was bugging him to death! :lol:

I just simply adore that little mini boy.
He seems like a teeny little fella that thinks he is gargantuan!!

They all look like they have wonderful homes with you.

Mini boy is king of the tank now :lol:
The 5 gallon is like a 10 gallon to him... he has been patrolling and keeping the two dwarf pencil fish in line!
I think I'll get him an ADF friend next time I visit my LFS :nod:

He looks hilarious flaring at that guppy :lol: He say's "I've taken on bigger and badder than you,missy!" :P Is he tinier than you expected? :look:
His finnage should heal soon. He was kinda nipped up when he was pulled a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah... I was expecting him to be about the size of my small female; not THIS tiny!! I'm really pleased with that, though. I always like the unique ones ;)
I noticed the fins and figured that's what it was. They don't look that bad at all, though. I'm sure they'll be all healed up in no time! :nod:

It was sooo funny today... I fed the pencil fish in mini boy's tank some Hikari micro pellets, which are basically the size of grains of sand, and mini boy was gobbling them up like they were absolutely delicious :lol:
The funny part is that he's so small, they looked in comparison to him like Hikari betta bio-gold looks to my other boys
He has his own "special" pellets, I guess. Just the right size for his tiny mouth ^_^
