If this is theyre first spawn just leave them do theyre thing. It'll take a while for them to get it right usualy up to 6 attempts. What other fish are in the tank?

Cool,

As i said it usually takes angels a couple of times to get it right, as they usually end up eating the eggs the first few times or they dont fertilise them properly.

Stress from other fish may also cause them to eat theyre eggs.

If you want to try raise fry its better to get the angels a breeding tank where they wont be disturbed by other fish. A large tank is more suited as angels raised in cramped or shallow tanks usually get deformed fins(like your male, his fry should be fine provided they have enough space).

Have a look online as there are plenty of great sites that are full of information on breeding angels.

Ahhh is that why his top fin is bent over ? Would a 15" high tank be suitable ?

Yep, thats why his fin is like that.

The usual for angelfish is 18" from the substrate to the water surface but for fry it can be less.
