I have a 10 gallon tank for guppies and endlers, can someone recommend a good hood and fluorescent light? I only have plans for java moss at the moment.

Again, I'm no expert by any means. That being said from what I have gathered java fern is considered an easy plant to keep. So I would think any basic plant/full spectrum bulb would be fine. In fact I have one with a $15 18w fluorescent "plant" spectrum bulb which works fine. Even thoug I was stupid for buying the bulb f
rom the big box pet store when I could have gotten the same bulb from a regular big box store for $5...... But anyway, I don't think you can kill that plant if you wanted to, so don't worry. You can go trial and error with this one.
