I wonder can anyone help me with this. I'd like to get a trio of Sparkling gourami but when I've checked it out on the net I'm getting different discriptions. Is the Sparkling called trichopsis pumila or trichopsis vittata?
Also are they easy to sex as I want 1 male and 2 females.
Thanks!

Trichopsis pumila is the kind you will most likely get at stores, other than shades of color they are practically the same fish. They are easy to sex. Males will have a bold, thick lateral line with dots above it. Females will have a dotted lateral line with splotchy blobs above it.
