I was under the impression that the two Dwarf Gouramis that I have had for some time, after losing male to DGD, were females, but yesterday I discovered a bubble nest being made on the surface of the water. Does this indicate that there is a pair? The other issue is that I decided to clean the front glass of a small amount of algae as we've got visitors coming, and I have obvious destroyed the bubbles - they've gone. Is this traumatic for the DGs?

No trauma destroying the nest, the male will just start over. Do you have a picture of the two fish?
