Yer I have the same experience in both tanks although much smaller groups loli have 60 neons in a tank and not much schooling goes on unless they're a bit scared

you think? mine are in a 180 litre but i definately wouldnt say they do a lot of cruising. they more about an inch a minute lol.penguins are ace, wouldnt stick them in anything less that 120 litres though, they like space to cruise.

gonna be adding another 8 real soon, assuming i can get the car fixed so i can get to the shop. these poor guys were in the car almost 7 hours on saturday when i got them because the car broke down on the way home.
you think? mine are in a 180 litre but i definately wouldnt say they do a lot of cruising. they more about an inch a minute lol.
penguins are ace, wouldnt stick them in anything less that 120 litres though, they like space to cruise.
arrr, 8 isn't many for a 180, i'd be looking for 20+ then they are a little more active.

maybe some zebras or possibly glo fish.
harlequin rasboras are another option, but they are a bit bigger
