Hello all. I have been doing a fish less cycle for my tank as advised by a friend at work. He has come over with a master test kit and says its ok to slowly start to introduce fish. I know this is a small tank. I was thinking of stocking it with one Betta, 5 micro rasboras and maybe a few shrimp.

Do you think this is over stocked if weekly 25% water changes are done. Apologies I'm new to all this.

Thanks,

Russ

Welcome to our forum Mrrussels.
Unfortunately you do not give us enough information. If you have a 10 gallon or larger tank, you might well get away with your proposed stocking. If you do not have at least that much you are likely to fail. (So much for being PC on my behalf.)

How'd you do tour fishless cycle? In a tank that size (about 6 gallons) you might be able to get sway with it but I'd do maybe 40-50% weekly water changes or 25% twice weekly.
