Agressive Danios?

since they joined tank, the danio's have been chasing the tetras. i reorganized the tank and added more plants so they had more places to hide. the little crew of five are all hiding.
i am worried that the danio's will attempt to eat these little guys, they seem to love chasing the tetras, the Betta females have also given chase but seem less aggressive with the tetra's then the danio's are.
should i worry about this?
if not should i just wait it out and let them settle it out,
or should i think of giving up danio's?

I was eyeing some long finned danios, if i got two of them would they frolick with my zebras? Or should i stick with the same type same color
Most Danios will school together. How many Danios do you have at the minute? I found that mine stopped throwing their weight about the tank when there were enough of them that they continuously argue amongst themselves rather than with my other fish

i bought 3 more young danios and three young neons.
before the numbers were 4&4 (started off with five tetras, but i think the danios gave him a stroke or something)
the zebra danios and the three neons were in the same tank when i bought them, one of the young danios is trying to school with the neon group now. ( i think he thinks he is a tetra)
the break down now 4 green neon tetra, 3 regular neons. i know normal neons will get bigger then greens, but for now its giving the little ones more confidence to come out in the open.
the danios original four were napping at the time of new ones intro, so typical kids, they went and woke up the older danios lol.
