Hey guys. At work we got a shipment of extremely thin looking pictus catfish. Due to my love for this species of catfish, I couldn't help myself but to bring them home so they can at least get a biggish tank (they're in my 75 now) instead of in a bunch of being stuck there for months like they always are until somebody notices them and takes one home to a little 15 gallon tank.

Anyways. The problem noted, they're very thin. They're still active, not showing signs of discomfort, which leads me to believe they're not infested with parasites. I fed them frozen brine shrimp a while after they were introduced, which they ate up faster than anything I've ever seen, it was quite chaotic, to say the least.

But to get to the point, what should I be feeding these guys to get them in shape? How long should it take for them to get a full figure, before I should start worrying?

Thanks much.

lol pictus are not fussy when it comes to grub lol but id say bloodworm and a good catfish pellet should do the trick ...make sure the have plenty of hiding places or they will squabble
