Isn't there any chance of a BGK survivng and not eating smaller fish like tetras even if it kept from a baby age and is fed regularly?

Fish just don't have the mechanism that we have to tell them when they've eaten enough and are full. Fish will just eat food (whatever form it comes in, including small fish) wherever they find it because that's what centuries of genetics has taught them to do.

BGK's are incredidly cool fish and I can understand the temptation to buy one.....but please do a LOT of research on these before considering. They have fairly specialized requirements and will predate on anything that can fit in their mouth.
