Hi guys noticed my red wagtail platy was looking rather fat and swollen the last few days do you think she could be pregnant or some sort of illness ? Going to try upload a pic so bear with me might take a few trys .....

I can't see her in the pic, but if she's been with a make at all in the past 6 months chances are shell be pregnant

if she's had contact with a male within the last 6 months she's almost definitely pregnant. Platies breed more than rabbits. Mine have fry about once every 6 weeks

Try getting off to the side a bit so the flash is not reflected right into the lens. Then we may be able to help you judge your female's state.

She looks pregnant to me, though it's kind of hard to tell in that pic.
