I am brand new to killie keeping, but have kept fish and plants for years. I have a 30liter cube that I am setting up and I want to put multiple (at least 2) Aphyosemion Australe males in their to watch them fight and flare. Of course I don't want them to be terribly worse for wear because of it. I realize this tank is a bit small for multiple males, but if I was going to try how would I do it? It will have lots of hiding places. I havve read that 2 males is the worst, and that 3+ males is better since the aggression is 'spread'. Would I need 2 or 3 females per male? What combinations of males and females might work? I also realize that 6+ australes in 30l could get a bit crowded on the stocking side, but I would be happy to extra maintenance to account for this, and these would be the only fish in the tank. Thanks!
