I'm gonna have a rescape in my 95 litre... and a cleandown as well to get rid of snails... and wondered if you had any ideas on stuff for the tank...

when i do set it up again it will have black gravel, a BLACK background, one load of java fern, an amazon sword, and 3 or 4 other plants of which i dont know the names of.....

at least the black will go with my filters and make them a little less visible

stocking will be at what it is now (1X Female molly, 1X male betta, 3X zebra danios, 1X pearl danio, 7X WCMM a Golden Apple Snail and at the very least 5-6 assasin snails)

^do you have any ideas as to what else i could put in?

while the tank is down i'lll put the fish in a tuff crate with filter, heater ETC...
will also give me a good chance to clean the tank so it sparkles like when i first got it!

a small question as well - is it alright if i used harpic on the bulb to get rid of the limescale as long as i washed it off REALLY well afterwards? i should think it'd be ok as it toesnt come into direct contact with the tankwater..... just want your opinions

filters/heater will stay the same as ever - interpet PF1, Fluval 3plus/ Elite 150watt

also i do have an airwall and 2 airstones... would these do alright undergravel do you think?

yust post your ideas underneath :)

many thx

What a shame no-one replied! I would say no the harpic, I presume that the light is within the lid of the tank? And therefore hangs over the water? As the condensation builds up again on the light the chemicals will mix with the water and slowly drip into the tank...... good chance of loosing everything imo
