Green Algae

New ornaments and white stones in gravel starting to show a green tinge.
All parameters fine.
Ammonia and nitrite 0. Nitrates <10.
Is this caused by the plants ?
Or is it just normal with or without plants ?
Any other cause ?

Also, there's two algae guides here and here - these are from our planted resource centre. If you can identify the type of algae it is then we can help you to address it. Usually though, algae causes can be found in trace amounts of ammonia and too much light.

How long are you lights on for?

About 7-8 hours.
Cant identify it yet.
Niot a big problem. Just want to nip it in the bud.
